The Argyll Hotel is frequently praised for its excellent location, particularly its proximity to Kelvingrove Museum and convenient access to public transport, including bus lines directly from the airport. Guests often appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring garden views and comfortable amenities. i got a room upgrade upon arrival (that was a nice surprise). the breakfast was good with several options available. the staff was helpful with directions to nearby attractions.
the floorboards creaked quite a bit. it was annoying when other guests walked around early in the morning (this was especially noticeable from my room). the wallpaper was peeling in some areas.

The staff at reception were lovely and very cute. The location IS amazing, just a few minutes from the University. The hotel decor uplifts the Scottish culture.
The pillow case had hair on them, unexpected. The bedsheet had an unclean mark. The coffee mug had tea stains.
